Beverley Sher (Principal)
Beverley (Bev) Sher is a Speech and Language Pathologist as well as a qualified Drama teacher. For over 20 years she has worked extensively with preschool children, primary school students, adolescents and adults. She enjoys supporting students with language-based learning difficulties as well as those with Autism Spectrum Disorders to cope in a mainstream educational setting. She qualified as a Speech Pathologist in South Africa and had the unique experience of working in a specialist type school exclusively for high functioning children with specific learning disabilities. Since immigrating to Australia in 1998, Beverley has worked as a Speech Pathologist for the Department of Education and in Private Practice. She uses drama in her therapy across all ages and has found it to be an especially useful tool within the fields of pragmatic disorders and social skills training. She runs Social Skills groups and has developed a special interest in this area. She has also held the position of Speech Pathologist and Clinical Co-Ordinator of the Fragile X Alliance Clinic. Due to her specialized and varied experience, she has presented at conferences and workshops both nationally and internationally.

Liz Zhornitsky (Principal)
Liz Zhornitsky is a Speech Pathologist who has worked in a variety of settings such as Child care Centres, Kindergartens, schools and in Private Practice. She works with toddlers, pre-schoolers, school aged students and adolescents. Some of the therapy she provides includes working on language skills, helping with reading and writing, stuttering, speech difficulties, auditory processing and social skills. She has a special interest in social skills, having attended numerous training and professional developments in this area. She runs social skills groups as well as individual sessions, which work on developing friendship skills, conflict resolution and problem solving. Liz has undergone additional training in a broad range of courses such as Hanen It Takes Two, PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment, Social Thinking, Lidcombe, Multisensory Structured Language, DIR Floortime and various courses on self-regulation.
